Semmelweis University (Budapest, Hungary) has joined Eurolife according to the decision taken in the last Eurolife Steering Committee meeting which took place on November 9, 2016 in Goettingen (Germany). This will expand Eurolife’s membership from 8 to 9 members. The aim is, among other things, that Semmelweis University will share knowledge and experience: their excellent educational programmes will facilitate strong exchanges and their research collaborations will be strengthened.

Semmelweis University is a public university founded in 1769. As a biomedical oriented higher education institution, its three-fold mission is education, research and health care. Semmelweis University’s main fields of study are Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Health Sciences, Health and Public Services. The language of instruction is English, German and Hungarian.
