EURIdoc, the trinational PhD programme in Immunology of the Upper Rhine Immunology Group (URI group), with the Eurolife member – University of Strasbourg – as one of its three partners, announces 28 doctoral positions in immunology and biomedicin in a cross-border reserach network of the universities of Freiburg, Strasbourg, Basel and Karlsruhe. The PhD research projects cover haematopoiesis, immune cell differentiation, innate and adaptive effector functions, immune-related diseases, infection and cancer immunity.
This PhD programme has been created by the immunologists of Basel, Freiburg and Strasbourg, who have been actively collaborating since 2017 as the URI-group. The programme is supported by Eucor – The European Campus, an association of the upper Rhine universities.
The positions are funded for 4 years. Through Eucor, EURIdoc has been selected to receive funding from the Marie Sklodowska Curie “Cofund” action of the EU research framework program “Horizon 2020”, and the recruitment of all 28 doctoral candidates is operated via the Freiburg Graduate School SGBM (Spemann Graduate School of Biology and Medicine) in conformity with the EU Marie Sklodowska Curie rules (see website ‘how to apply’).
